In this police procedural, an insane serial killer turns screen dreams into screen screams: his murders recreate the grisly scenes of famous films, including PSYCHO and SCARFACE. He ensures that he has an audience for his cinematically-inspired gruesome deeds by inserting a video clip into rental tapes of the relevant film and then returning them to the store. Philadelphia police detectives Jessica Balzano and Kevin Byrne, last seen in THE ROSARY GIRLS, comb through an unfortunately extensive group of likely suspects to find the psychopath.
